X-Culture allows iSB students to learn about business through experience. Students work on real international business projects from real companies in teams that consist of international members.

X-Culture = Students + Professors + Business + Research
Students help businesses with their projects while gaining international business experience.
Who else participates in X-Culture?
Students from all over the world participate in X-Culture twice a year. These students come from a plethora of universities such as Mount Royal University (Canada), NEOMA Business School (France), School of Management Fribourg (Switzerland), Loughborough University (UK), Universidad Panamericana (Mexico), St. John’s University (USA), National Chung Cheng University (Taiwan), Singapore Management University (Singapore), and the International University of Japan (Japan). As of August 2021, there are a total of 652 universities participating in X-Culture projects.
Will iSB Students receive Certificates from X-Culture?
Yes, all iSB students who successfully complete their X-Culture projects will receive a Global Collaboration Experience Certificate. This certificate will help iSB students find overseas jobs, get promotions, and pursue further studies abroad.

Student Achievements
A total of 1,277 reports were submitted in the 2020-2 round of the X-Culture competition. Benyamin Kristian Worabay (iSB Business and Entrepreneurship Student) and his team were crowned the 2020-2 X-Culture Best Team.
Benyamin, along with students from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania (USA), Universidad del Rosario (Colombia), the University of New Brunswick (Canada), the University of Botswana (Botswana), and Rowan Cabarrus Community College (USA) worked on a project for Italian wine company Cocci Griffoni.
Lecturer Achievements
About 140 X-Culture instructors did an absolutely outstanding job in the 2020-2 round of the X-Culture competition. However, some instructors went the extra mile to help their students and make their X-Culture projects a success. Lydia Karnadi (iSB International Business Management Faculty Member) was awarded the Best Instructor award.
