About i3L Competition Series (iCS)

i3L Competition Series (iCS) is an annual competition series held by the Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences. Specifically designed for high school students, iCS aims to explore the potential of high school students in Indonesia to develop sustainable science and technology tools/product advancement.

Through this competition, students are expected to create innovative new products as a response to the development of advanced science and technology in Indonesia.

iCS 2026: Sustainable BioFutures

This theme invites high school students to create ideas and innovations that connect biology, biotechnology, and sustainability. It focuses on how biological principles can support a healthier, safer, and more environmentally conscious future.

iCS 2026: Theme Pillars

1) Health and Well-being

Ideas that promote healthier living, preventative approaches, wellness tools, or health education supported by biological principles.

2) Sustainable Agriculture

Ideas that improve the efficiency, quality, and sustainability of agricultural production, resource management, or food systems.

3) Environmental Solutions

Ideas that help reduce waste, protect ecosystems, restore environmental quality, or promote sustainable materials.
