The Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences (I3L) won the Pfizer Indonesia and Tenggara Strategics awards through the Pfizer Biotech Fellowship program.
The Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences (I3L) won the Pfizer Indonesia and Tenggara Strategics awards through the Pfizer Biotech Fellowship program. This program aims to support the advancement of medical biotechnology. The Pfizer Biotech Fellowship program invites students from the medical biotechnology program study in Indonesia to share ideas in creating innovations and share ideas in forming a roadmap for the development of medical biotechnology. This competition gives appreciation to 125 students and teaching staff who have participated and played an active role in discussions and brainstorming ideas as a contribution in supporting the development of ecosystems and human resources in the medical biotechnology sector.
The highlight event also awarded the winners of the competition for undergraduate students and writing research proposals for postgraduate students (Graduate Education Grants).
In this event, the Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences (I3L) won the first best team and the second-best team in this competition in the Undergraduate Competition category;
First best team: Humboldt Team consists of Devina Checylia Setiawan, Velecia Salim, Wenny Novella with their project “Development of Lab space to Support the Development of Medical Biotechnology in Indonesia”
Second best team: Unlocked Team with their team member Deby Cyntia Chandra, Jessica Renata Wijaya Tumboimbela, Reza Hanun Alyaa with their project “Three Key Imperatives as the Foundation for Primary Production as PCR Raw Materials in Indonesia: Research and Development, Infrastructure, and Commercialization” Hanun, Representative of the Unlocked Team stated that this competition was very challenging considering that many of the participants came from reputable universities.
