Strengthening Collaborations: i3L Hosts AgroParisTech for a Two-Day Educational Visit
Jakarta, October 15, 2024 – i3L was thrilled to host a two-day visit from AgroParisTech, a renowned French institution specializing in agricultural and food engineering. The visit aimed to strengthen existing research collaborations, explore new partnership opportunities, and provide valuable learning experiences for our students.
Food Technology & Pharmacy Workshop
On the first day, Dr. Delphine Huc-Mathis, an Associate Professor at AgroParisTech, conducted insightful workshops for our Food Technology and Pharmacy students. Food Technology students delved into the fascinating world of Pickering emulsions applied to food products, while Pharmacy students explored the potential of these emulsions in cosmetic formulations. Dr. Huc-Mathis’ expertise and engaging approach provided our students with invaluable knowledge and practical insights.
Power Talk
The second day marked a highlight of the visit with a captivating power talk delivered by Dr. Huc-Mathis. Her presentation, titled “Stabilization of Clean-Label Emulsions with Uncracked Plant Byproducts,” offered valuable insights into innovative approaches to emulsion stabilization. Following the power talk, Dr. Huc-Mathis met with faculty members from Food Technology and Food Science and Nutrition to discuss potential areas of collaboration and explore opportunities for future partnerships between i3L and AgroParisTech.
