On May 22, i3L hosted Dr. Marina Vance from the University of Colorado Boulder for a PowerTalk with the topic “Breathing in Focus: Exploring Indoor and Outdoor PM2.5 Levels and Personal Exposures.” Dr. Vance, an Associate Professor of Mechanical and Environmental Engineering, discussed the critical issue of PM2.5 pollution and its health implications, sharing cutting-edge research and practical insights on monitoring and mitigating exposure. The event attracted 102 participants with attendees appreciating Dr. Vance’s ability to make complex scientific information accessible and also her interactive presentation style.
