Exploring International Opportunities: NCUE, Taiwan Introduces Immersion and Exchange Programs at i3L University
Jakarta, 28 April 2026 – i3L University recently organised an online information session from representatives of National Changhua University of Education (NCUE), Taiwan to showcase the different academic and internship opportunities in Taiwan for students. The purpose of the presentation was to inform students of the various programs developed to encourage international exposure, such as student exchange programs, research internships, and further education pathways.
Immersion Program and Internship Opportunities
The Immersion Program 3+1 provides a unique opportunity for students to combine academic study with international experience and potential career pathways (master’s and job opportunities in Taiwan). The Taiwan Experience Education Program (TEEP) provides students with the opportunity to conduct research in laboratories under the supervision of faculty members, which is especially advantageous for students in the fields of natural sciences and engineering (i.e., biology, chemistry, physics, and computer science). Other than that, students could transfer the credits from the exchange program to the master’s program which is also part of the immersion 3+1.
Student Life and Global Exposure
NCUE provides a supportive environment for international students, including accommodation and offers numerous cultural and social activities/events to students. Students can also participate in a variety of extracurricular programs, including sports, athletics, cross-cultural and cultural exchange programs.
Supporting Global Learning at i3L
This session offered valuable perspectives into international academic pathways and hands-on learning opportunities. Through collaborations with institutions like NCUE, i3L University continues to encourage students to gain global experience and broaden their academic and professional perspectives.
