Pukana Jayaraman PhD, was born in Malaysia. She completed her Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Science (Hons) at the Management and Science University, Malaysia in 2006. She then worked as a Tutor for Medical Laboratory Technology students.
She later obtained her Masters by coursework in Health Science from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She continued back into Lecturer position in Management and Science University (MSU). She was teaching the Bachelor in Biomedical Science students.
In 2017, she earned her Doctorate of Philosophy from University of Malaya, Malaysia. Her Doctorate study was mainly about dental pulp stem cells and its efficacy in wound healing. After her completion, she was offered a Quality Control Executive position in a biopharmaceutical company. She assists in the manufacturing of stem cells product for osteoarthritis patients.
Currently, she is working as a Faculty Member of the Biomedical Science program. Her interest is to build and develop the skills needed for a Biomedical Science student in life sciences and health care industry.
