Biography

Dr.rer.med. Gabriella Gita Febriana, B.Sc., M.Res. is a full-time faculty member of the Biomedicine Study Program. She received a research grant from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to conduct her doctoral research at the University Duisburg-Essen, Germany. She had been investigating the roles of thyroid hormone in the pathogenesis of Graves’ orbitopathy, one of the clinical manifestations of autoimmune hyperthyroidism. Gabriella received her master’s degree in Immunobiology from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom where she investigated the cell signaling that occurred in the pathogenesis of skin systemic sclerosis. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
