Biography

Dr. Ir. Yuary Farradia, M.Sc., is a Senior Lecturer in the field of Technology Management, with expertise in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and Management. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries from Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung, in 1991. She later obtained a Master’s degree in Natural Resources Economics from Universiti Pertanian Malaysia in 1996, and completed her PhD in Technology Management at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia in 2020.

Her research and publications focus on Green Supply Chain Management, Green Marketing, Sustainability, Environmental Management, Ecotourism, Consumer Purchase Decisions, and Marketing Strategies. Dr. Farradia is also an active speaker at international conferences, including the International Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM) Conference, where she presents on supply chain and sustainability issues.

Her international research interests include Smart Fishermen Village initiatives toward Sustainable Development, as well as Sustainable Behavioral Models in Green Hospitality.

From 2021 to 2023, Dr. Farradia served as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Development, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT). During this period, she was actively involved in international community engagement programmes between Malaysia and Indonesia through SULAM (Service Learning Malaysia). She led the “Kita Bantu Desa” project in 2022 and contributed as a member of the “Keluarga Malaysia” project in 2023.

Dr. Farradia has authored books in the areas of Green Supply Chain Management and Digital Marketing, and has contributed chapters in marketing and management publications. She has also supervised international postgraduate students.

In addition to her academic career, she brings over a decade of professional experience as a management practitioner in multinational companies, and continues to serve as a Management Consultant and Corporate Trainer.
