We welcome everyone to learn from our guest lecture from Deakin University Nutrition Science department, Dr Sze-Yen Tan, AdvAPD.
Dr Tan Sze-Yen is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian and the Deputy Course Director of Bachelor of Nutrition Science at Deakin University, Australia. He completed his Bachelor of Dietetics at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Masters and PhD degrees at the University of Wollongong (Australia), and post-doctoral training at Purdue University (USA). Dr Tan teaches Lifespan Nutrition and Diet & Disease in the undergraduate and postgraduate nutrition programs at Deakin. He is also an active researcher where his research focuses on finding effective dietary strategies that promote healthy body weight and optimal metabolic health in adults.
