i3L University Officially Established, Higher Education and Research

Jakarta, 10 September 2025 – Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences (i3L), widely known as a leading higher education institution in Indonesia, has officially transformed into i3L University. This milestone follows the issuance of the Decree of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 699/B/O/2025 on August 19, 2025.

The official handover of the decree took place on September 1, 2025. The decree was presented by Dr. Henri Togar Hasiholan Tambunan, S.E., M.A., Head of LLDikti Region III, to i3L’s Rector, Katherine, S.T., Ph.D. The ceremony was also attended by Vice Rector II for Marketing, Research, and Innovation, apt. Pietradewi Hartrianti, M.Farm., Ph.D

A New Chapter for i3L University

The transformation from an institute to a university marks a significant milestone in i3L’s journey. With this change, i3L University strengthens its role in higher education, interdisciplinary research, and global innovation. As a university, i3L is committed to expanding academic programs, enhancing research capabilities, and broadening collaboration with both local and international partners.

i3L’s Rector Katherine expressed her gratitude to parents, students, faculty, staff, and all stakeholders who have continuously supported i3L throughout its journey. “This transformation is not merely a change in status, but a reflection of our growing capability and commitment to delivering even higher quality education and research,” said Katherine.
