i3L Students Secure Runner-Up Position at ISTEC 2024

i3L students achieved the Runner-Up position at the International Science Technology Engineering Competition (ISTEC) 2024 with the research title “Production of Analog Rice from Avocado Seed Flour with Addition of Single Cell Protein from Papaya Waste using Extrusion Method: Preliminary Study”. The team, consisting of Novita Tjahjono from the Food Technology Study Program cohort 2021, Antonia Caitlin Gondowardoyo from the Food and Nutrition Study Program cohort 2020, and Novelyn from the Food and Nutrition Study Program cohort 2020, excelled in the international scientific competition organized by the Bandung Creative Society and the Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA). 

Carrying the theme “Science, Technology, and Engineering”, ISTEC aims to bring together high-achieving young innovators to showcase remarkable discoveries that support global competition. The event took place in Bali on May 2-5, 2024. The success of the i3L student team in this competition is a source of pride, showcasing the quality and capability of i3L students in competing at the international level, and it is hoped that it will inspire other students to continue innovating and excelling.
