7th i3L Graduation: Celebrating New Beginnings for Graduates Ready to Embrace a World of Possibilities
Saturday, 7th December 2024 – i3L once again affirmed its commitment as a leading educational institution by hosting its 7th Graduation Ceremony on December 7, 2024. This milestone event celebrated graduates from various programs, ready to embark on their professional journeys equipped with knowledge and remarkable achievements.
This year’s graduation marked the completion of studies for 180 graduates in two sessions. The first session featured graduates from the Pharmacy, Food Technology, and Food Science & Nutrition programs. The second session honored graduates from Biomedicine, Bioentrepreneurship, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, and the Master in Biomanagement program.
Academic excellence stood out as a highlight, with 82.8% of graduates achieving a Grade Point Average (GPA) above 3.5 and 91.7% completing their studies on time. In addition, the graduates garnered outstanding achievements, securing five international accolades and 19 national awards. To prepare for their careers, i3L graduates were actively encouraged to participate in the Kampus Merdeka program. Among the 2024 graduates, 54.1% gained significant experience through internships, research projects, student exchanges, or entrepreneurial endeavors for at least one semester outside campus. Of these, 39.2% pursued such activities abroad, including internships, final projects, and international exchange programs.
This year’s graduation carried the theme “Unlocking the World of Possibilities,” reflecting the graduates’ spirit of embracing future opportunities. i3L’s Rector, Katherine, S.T., Ph.D., shared an inspiring message with the graduates: “Life is full of surprises and unforeseen opportunities. Stay humble in moments of success and remember how far you’ve come when facing challenges. Never give up.” Her words motivated the graduates to move forward with optimism and resilience.
The ceremony was further enriched by the presence of esteemed speakers. Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc., Head of LLDIKTI Region 3, delivered a speech during the first session, while Prof. Rhenald Kasali, an Independent Commissioner of PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. and Advisory Board member at i3L, addressed the audience in the second session.
The celebration also featured cultural performances by the Traditional Dance Student Club (Tradance) and a heartfelt choir presentation by Gemasukma, i3L’s Student Choir Club, creating a harmonious and emotional atmosphere.
