Jakarta, 16th July 2024 – i3L is proud to announce that Dr. Dina Hermawaty, head of the Biotechnology study program, received the Best Presenter award at the International Conference and Workshop on Biotechnology 2024. The presentation that captivated the audience was titled “Dynamics of Global DNA Methylation and Gene Expression in Banana Fruit Ripening”. The research was a collaboration with Ms. Dina’s colleague from the School of Life Sciences and Technology at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), highlighting significant advancements in agricultural biotechnology.

Organized by the Indonesian Biotechnology Consortium (KBI) and the Center for Biotechnology at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), the conference took place from July 3-5, 2024, at the Eastparc Hotel in Yogyakarta. With the theme “Biotechnological Approaches in Food and Nutrition Security for Sustainable Global Health,” this influential event served as a pivotal gathering for professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts, showcasing innovative solutions through biotechnological advancements.

The program included keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive workshops, offering attendees insights into the latest research and developments while providing opportunities to network with leading experts.
