Since August 2016, Hydroponic activity has been conducted by the team using the facilities provided at the terrace of i3L. On a daily basis, plant maintenance and measurement are done for the purpose of consumption and fundraising.
Our vision and mission is to promote agricultural activities in i3L environment and to fully understand the mechanism of hydroponic as well as to find the most applicable way of conducting hydroponic agriculture.
Programs
- Introductory presentation on hydroponics systems and maintenance
- Daily checkup of hydroponic system (ie. supplementing plants with nutrients, ppm checking)
- Vegetable harvesting and processing (eg. cooking and selling)
Achievement
Building hydroponics system from zero (ie. Fundraising, research of systems, blueprint design, purchasing raw material, building/assembly)
