Saturday, December 21, 2024 – The annual Ancestral event, hosted by i3L, successfully concluded with a vibrant showcase of student research under the theme, “Bioinnovations: An Emerging Wave of Global Solutions for Advancements in Life Sciences.” This year’s event provided a platform for students to present their findings while fulfilling the requirements of the Enrichment Program (EP) course. It also served as an invaluable opportunity for participants to experience the dynamic environment of a scientific conference.

The Ancestral event provided students with the opportunity to present their research, improve essential academic and professional skills, and share their findings with a diverse audience, including parents, lecturers, and the broader community.

The event featured 32 presenters, comprising five oral presenters and 27 poster presenters, all from the 2021 cohort across various programs: Biotechnology (BT), Biomedicine (BM), Bioinformatics (BI), Food Technology (FT), Food Science (FS), and International Business Management (IBM).

The event featured oral and poster presentation sessions and an awarding ceremony. Presenters showcased diverse research findings, merging life sciences and business. The five oral presenters delivered their work to an audience evaluated by esteemed judges, while poster presenters engaged one-on-one with lecturers, sparking insightful discussions on their topics.
