A short message from our student,

I remember starting out university with no clear plans on what I will be doing after graduation. But one thing I realised from my time in i3L is that I genuinely like working in the lab. There was no grand scheme of things of trying to attain a better world or what not. If I could achieve that along the journey, that’s a bonus. It was my own selfishness to live out this small happiness that had motivated me to pursue a PhD.

My motivation might seem trivial, but if you put your heart into your work, I believe that sincerity will bloom into results. Maybe not in an instant, maybe you will take the long route there, but just know that none of the work and time you have put will be in vain. Appreciate all the little steps and keep doing what you like!
