Biography

Dr. oec. troph. Hanny Angrainy completed her Doctor Degree in Nutritional Science from Justus Liebig Universitaet Giessen (JLU), Germany with the achievement grade of Magna Cum Laude (2012). She was awarded as one of the best presenters with her dissertation presented in International Federation for Home Economics (IFHE) World Congress 2012 in Melbourne, Australia. Previous to her Doctor degree, she has accomplished two master’s degree from Germany, Master of Science in Nutritional Science from Justus Liebig Universitaet Giessen with the achievement grade of Magna Cum Laude (2008) and Master of Arts in International Marketing from Fachhochschule Giessen-Friedberg with the achievement grade of Cum Laude (2005). Her primary research focused on Children’s Nutrition as well as their eating and buying behavior related to their surrounding and how these behaviors affect the society. 

 

After finishing her Doctor degree, she worked in the leading Healthcare and Wellness Nutrition Industry in Indonesia, where she was responsible for the projects of:

  • Milk Formula, Complementary Food and Snacks for Children
  • Meal Replacement and Snacks for Diet and Weight Management
  • Beauty Drinks
  • Dairy and Non-Dairy Nutrition for Pregnancy and Lactating
  • Plant-Based Beverages for Pregnancy 
  • Plant-Based Meat for European Market

 

While she was working in her previous workplace, she likes to spend her weekend in teaching about Nutrition to kindergarten and to midwives.
