Dr. Almitra Rindiarti graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia in 2010 (Cum Laude). After working as visiting researcher in Pediatric Department, Kagoshima University in 2015, she decided to pursue a Ph.D. in Pediatric Hemato-Oncology under the supervision of Prof. Yoshifumi Kawano and Prof. Yasuhiro Okamoto from 2016. Her main thesis project focused on the development of chemotherapy resistant T-ALL cell line and elucidation of its drug resistance mechanism. During her study she was awarded the Otsuka Toshimi Scholarship from Otsuka Toshimi Foundation. She received her Doctorate in 2022 and joined i3L as biomedicine faculty member.
