Right after the final exam, SCi’s very own Learning and Development division held the Leadership Camp 2022. Leadership Camp 2022 was an event where i3L students, especially those aiming to join the SCi as well as DoBs of Clubs and Communities, were given the chance to develop their soft skills by learning how to develop and apply their leadership skills in a group setting. The event was held virtually on the 24th to 25th of June 2022.
During the first day of the event, Adang Adha, the Chairman of the Board at Asosiasi Praktisi Coaching Indonesia, was invited to introduce the primary skills required to be a good leader. After getting to know all those important points, each group of participants were assigned to try to find the best solution to deal with a difficult situation found in the study case. Not only that, each group should also present and share their answer to everyone.
The second day started with each group sharing their answers and the committee judged each group based on their answers and the group with the best solution was awarded as a winner. A second group, however, was also picked by the participants as the participants’ favorite. After every group had done their presentation, Maliki Febrianto Saputra, CEO at LEADS Indonesia Foundation, was invited to analyze and explain how to deal with the situation based on the given study case.
All in all, about 130 participants attended Leadership Camp 2022 to establish a good foundation as soon-to-be leaders. This event was held to match the academic skills with the soft skills to equip i3L students in the future. This event is a must to join for future leaders, make sure not to miss the next “Leadership Camp” next year!
