Biography

Andrea Dhieta Utama completed her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy with a track in Pharmaceutical Science and Technology and professional pharmacist degree at Universitas Gadjah Mada. She then went on to further her education by pursuing a master’s study in Biomedicine at Karolinska Institute, specializing in Tumor and cancer Biology. For her master’s thesis project at AstraZeneca Gothenburg, she delved into studying the specificity and subcellular localization of cell-penetrating peptides in different cell lines. Throughout her academic journey, she also has research experience in other fields, such as skin aging prevention using natural products, developing microbial biosensors for skin wounds, and exploring the tumor microenvironment in blood cancer.
