i3L-University of Dundee-Combiphar Meeting with the Scottish Minister of Business, Trade, Tourism, and Enterprise, Mr. Ivan Mckee
Monday, February 13, 2023, i3L was invited to meet with the Scottish Minister of Business, Trade, Tourism, and Enterprise, Mr. Ivan McKee. The aim of this meeting was to introduce the Minister to the Biomedicine Double Degree Program (DPP) by i3L and the University of Dundee, with a research project supported by Combiphar. A brief introduction to i3L was presented by Rio Hermantara, Ph.D as the Head of the Biomedicine Study Program, followed by an overview of the DDP and i3L-Dundee-Combiphar collaboration by Dr. Graham Christie, University of Dundee. Minister McKee then gave a speech introducing wider collaboration opportunities between Scotland and Indonesia. The event concludes with a short discussion surrounding the topic and what each party could contribute to the proposition. The event’s attendees include representatives from the British Council, the Scottish Enterprise, and the British Embassy Jakarta.
