i3L Student Entrepreneurship Program Announces Winners:
Mochiu and Mini Tokek!
The i3L School of Life Sciences is proud to announce Mochiu and Mini Tokek as the winners of Student Entrepreneurship Program for the academic year 2023/2024! This program, designed by i3L Entrepreneurship division in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department under Vice Rector II, empowers students to develop their business skills and transform their ideas into successful ventures.
After a rigorous series of phases including participant selection, screening, and intensive skill-building, Mochiu and Mini Tokek have emerged as the champions, showcasing exemplary ingenuity and entrepreneurial prowess.
Mochiu, led by Timothy Elias from the Biomedicine study program, has captured the judges’ attention with their innovative take on mochi. Their rendition of this traditional delicacy promises a delightful twist that tantalizes taste buds and ignites culinary imagination
On the other hand, Mini Tokek, under the leadership of Josia Shemuel from the Bioinformatics study program, has wowed the judges with their ingenious creation – the towel cake. This innovative solution marries creativity with practicality, offering a delightful and functional product.
Both teams represent a fusion of talents from various study programs including Biomedicine, Bioinformatics, Food Science and Nutrition, and Biotechnology. Their collaborative efforts underscore the interdisciplinary nature of entrepreneurship at i3L.
Ms. Amanda Bernadette Joana, B.Sc., M.Sc., the instructor for the Entrepreneurship in Life Science course, has been instrumental in guiding and nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among i3L students.
The success of Mochiu and Mini Tokek exemplifies the dedication, creativity, and entrepreneurial acumen ingrained within the i3L community. Congratulations to both teams for their remarkable achievements!
