i3L School of Business Curriculum Benchmarking to Krida Wacana Christian University, LSPR Communication & Business Institute, and  Institut Bisnis dan Informatika Kesatuan

Jakarta, 13rd August 2024 – The i3L School of Business (iSB) conducted a series of curriculum benchmarking visits to three prominent institutions: Krida Wacana Christian University (UKRIDA), LSPR Communication & Business Institute (LSPR), and Institut Bisnis dan Informatika Kesatuan (IBIK). The benchmarking activities aimed to discuss the uniqueness of the study programs offered by each institution, exchange best practices in the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program, and curriculum review to enhance academic excellence.

The workshop, which ran from 08:30 to 16:00, focused on the crucial need for innovative teaching strategies in today’s rapidly evolving educational landscape. Dr. Susanto shared his expertise on designing learning experiences that engage students effectively while fostering a more dynamic, interactive environment in higher education. Throughout the day, the faculty explored various strategies for improving student engagement and optimizing teaching methods to achieve better learning outcomes.

Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive because of its informative content and seamless organization of the presentation. The interactive nature of the event was particularly well-received, as faculty members could directly connect with the practical ideas presented.The workshop also highlighted the importance of practical and applicable strategies for the classroom.

The benchmarking began with a visit to Krida Wacana Christian University (UKRIDA) on August 13, 2024. The visit was officially opened by Dr. Diana Frederica, SE., MAk, the Dean of the School of Business at UKRIDA. After the opening remarks, each team introduced themselves, highlighting their roles and objectives for the visit. This was followed by representatives from each institution presenting their respective study programs. The session then transitioned into a discussion and sharing session.

On August 21, 2024, the benchmarking visit to LSPR Communication and Business Institute began with the LSPR team officially opening the meeting. The opening remarks were delivered by LSPR Vice Rector IV, Associate Professor Dr. Lestari Nurhajati, M.Si. Following these introductions, presentations were made by key representatives discussing the implementation of the MBKM program, study program curriculum and activities, and alumni engagement. The visit concluded with a campus tour, highlighting important facilities such as the Podcast Lab and the Entrepreneur Lab (Kayaraya).

On August 27, 2024, the benchmarking visit to Institut Bisnis dan Informatika Kesatuan (IBIK) commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Ratih Puspitasari, SE., MBA, the Dean of the School of Business at IBIK. It was followed immediately by the opening remarks and introduction of each team. The visit included a campus tour showcasing various laboratories, such as the Digital Media Lab, Investment Banking Lab, and Front Office Banking Lab. This tour provided valuable insights into IBIK’s diverse academic facilities.

These benchmarking activities have provided valuable insights and strengthened partnerships between i3L School of Business and the benchmarked institutions. Moving forward, i3L School of Business is committed to integrating the lessons learned into our curriculum and further enhancing the student learning experience through innovation and collaboration.
