i3L Holds the 6th Graduation Ceremony: Celebrating Student Achievements and Academic Journey
The Indonesia International Institute for Life Sciences (i3L) held its 6th Annual Graduation Ceremony. This graduation marks the outstanding achievements of the best graduates from i3L, who are part of two schools: the School of Business and the School of Life Sciences.
The graduation ceremony was divided into two sessions. The first session showcased the accomplishments of graduates from the Master in BioManagement program, Bioentrepreneurship, Biotechnology, and Biomedicine bachelor’s programs. The second session presented graduates from the BioInformatics, Pharmacy, Food Science and Nutrition, and Food Technology bachelor’s programs.
Katherine, S.T., Ph.D., the Rector of i3L, stated that the 6th i3L Graduation is a tangible manifestation of i3L’s dedication to advancing the fields of science and business. “Our graduates are evidence that they are ready to contribute to addressing global challenges,” she emphasized.
The i3L Rector also conveyed a message to the graduates, saying, “Congratulations on this outstanding achievement. The skills and hard work you have acquired at i3L will be valuable assets for exploring the worlds of science and business. Continue your journey with a spirit of achievement and innovation to make a positive impact on society and the world.”
Many i3L graduates have undergone internship programs and student exchange programs, both domestically and internationally. Some examples include Aurellia Ramara, a Biomedicine major, who conducted research at the University of Dundee, Scotland, and Vyeline Angel, a Pharmacy major, who completed her thesis at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB), UK.
These experiences not only provide practical insights but also enrich the global perspectives of the graduates. The experiences also contribute to the fact that 46% of the graduates from the 6th i3L Graduation are already employed or pursuing higher education at the time of graduation.
Dhita Widya Putri, Head of Public Relations and Partnership Working Group at LLDIKTI 3 Jakarta, and Sari Chairunnisa, Director of Research and Development at PT. Paragon Technology and Innovation, were also present to encourage and congratulate the graduates on completing their educational journey. The festive atmosphere of the graduation ceremony was further enhanced by performances from the Student Activity Unit (UKM), traditional dances from Tradance, and a choir performance from Gemasukma.
The event was supported by leading sponsors, including Bank BTN, BNI, BCA, Premier Water, Paragon Corp, Among, and Armor, all of whom contributed to celebrating the success of i3L graduates.
