After years of online Halloween celebrations, the Welfare Division finally presents an offline Halloween event! This year, the event is titled “Escape the Psychotic Infirmary”, a thrilling escape journey filled with surprises and mysteries that were waiting to be solved. Participants were encouraged to wear their best halloween costumes to this event, which was held on the 11th of November 2022, from 5.30-9.30pm.
The event started by gathering participants in the i3L Lobby for a short briefing session to explain the rules and regulations for the night’s event. After the briefing session ended, they were guided to their respective theater rooms to watch the movie “Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum.” After all the participants were spooked out, groups of 10 started playing in their assigned escape room, where they must solve mind-boggling riddles and hints within 20 minutes. While the escape room was ongoing, other groups were gathered in the lobby for a mask painting competition as they waited for their turns to play in the escape room. After numerous screams and tears, the event was wrapped up with the announcement and awards for the participants who donned the best costume, as well as groups that won the escape room and mask painting competition.
Even though this Halloween celebration only lasted for a few hours, there was no doubt that the participants had a blast. If you haven’t got the chance to celebrate Halloween in i3L this year, do not miss out on the next Halloween event!
