Themed "Catalyst: Accelerate to a Dynamic & Sustainable Future through Innovations in Life Sciences and Business," the event was meticulously organized by i3L's dedicated students and faculty under the Academic Affairs division.

Held on January 13th, the Annual Science Conference at i3L (ANCESTRAL) 2024 emerged as a vibrant platform, seamlessly blending innovation in life sciences and business. Themed “Catalyst: Accelerate to a Dynamic & Sustainable Future through Innovations in Life Sciences and Business,” the event was meticulously organized by i3L’s dedicated students and faculty under the Academic Affairs division. ANCESTRAL 2024 not only provided an opportunity for students to showcase their scientific and business-related research but also fostered interdisciplinary discussions among a diverse audience, including experts and the general public.

With a robust turnout of 170 attendees, comprising students, faculties, parents, company representatives, and the general public, ANCESTRAL 2024 has reflected a growing enthusiasm for scientific and business innovation within and beyond the i3L community. The highlight of the event was the keynote address by Dr. Davis Pascut from the Italian Liver Foundation. His talk on “Redefining the Global Challenge of Liver Cancer: Personalized Treatment Breakthroughs and Innovations in Technology” provided invaluable insights into addressing a pressing health challenge through technological advancements.

The conference activities, encompassing oral and poster presentations, served as a dynamic showcase of student research conducted both in the classroom and during enrichment program internships. What set ANCESTRAL 2024 apart was its distinctive integration of research from students across different study programs under the School of Life Sciences and the School of Business, fostering rich interdisciplinary discussions and collaborations.
