Wided Kouidhi, Ph.D.

Wided Kouidhi, Ph.D. was born in Tunisia. She achieved her Phd from the University of Burgundy in France. During her Phd she conducted a research project on the effects of endocrine disruptors (chemicals that can interfere with the endocrine system) on the oral cavity and salivary glands. Dr.Wided also worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Hong Kong and University of Malaya in Malaysia.

Her research expertise revolves around the toxicology area and especially the harmful effects of endocrine disruptors such as pesticides; plastic compounds and natural products like phytoestrogens on human’s health and have published research articles related to this field.
