Activities

i3L Buddhist Community is a religion-based community that has been  established since 2018. Despite being a religion-based community, most of the Buddhist Community activities are open to and inclusive to all i3L family members. We, as a community, do not focus on promoting not the theological side of the religion but more on the applicative side of the core values of the religion that can be applied in daily everyone’s activities and not limited only to those who subscribe to the religion. In the 2019-2020 academic year, we started adopting the values of ‘The Four Immeasurables’ that includes ‘Loving Kindness’, ‘Compassion’, ‘Appreciative Joy’, and ‘Equanimity’ to our activities and events. At the end of the day, we wish happiness to all beings: this is our ultimate goal as a community.

  • Our biweekly meetings consist of sharing sessions and discussions related to the applicable values of the religion.

No participation in any competition as of now.

However, we have conducted two independent events in academic year 2019-2020:

  1. Meditation Bootcamp
  2. Panel Discussion Session: Impacting Yourself and the Environment with Plant-Based Diet
