SITI MUSLIMATUN, Ph.D.
FACULTY OF FOOD SCIENCE AND NUTRITION
Dr. Siti Muslimatun graduated from the Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia in 1991. She obtained her Master’s degree in Nutrition from the University of Indonesia in 1996. In 2001 she finished her doctoral study in Human Nutrition at Wageningen University, Netherlands.
From 2002-present Dr. Siti Muslimatun works for SEAMEO occupying various positions among others: Deputy Director for Program Development and Consultancy, Acting Deputy Director for Education, Deputy Director for Resource Management and Marketing, and Acting Chief Operating Officer. The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) is an international organization established in 1965 among governments of Southeast Asian countries to promote regional cooperation in education, science and culture in Southeast Asia.
Dr. Siti Muslimatun has garnered 14 research publications under her name and has been involved in 13 different research projects altogether. She’s also a registered peer-review editor of 7 different scientific journals.
On top of those Dr. Siti Muslimatun is also an academic staff at University of Indonesia’s Postgraduate Training Programme. She actively teaches the following courses: Food and Micronutrient Intervention, Research Methodology, Health/Nutrition Program Planning/Management I and II and she also leads field studies.
Dr. Siti Muslimatun is bringing her valuable work experience, network and respectable research and teaching expertise to i3L that enhance the stature of the institution and present valuable opportunities to its students to learn from her unique perspective of the field.
