i3L proudly presents i3L Power Talk event series. i3L Power Talks give a unique opportunity for students and stakeholders to actively engage in discussions with national and international experts on topics related to education, research, science, and business.
In the upcoming Power Talk, Dr Kostas Gkatzionis, Assistant Professor at the School of Chemical Engineering, University of Birmingham will share his insights in a talk titled “Applied microbiology is vital part of food industry presenting excellent potential for adding value in agro-processing and food production.”
In this Power Talk, he will present three research case studies.
– Applied microbiology and flavour production in fermented foods (cheese)
– Microbiology and food formulation: Emulsions are common in foods
